What frontpage do you use for your site if you have any ?

my front page is also only a standard page.

I don't use portals, and I don't know why I don't really like using it. although it's handy because it lists all the most up-to-date information about our site, it's a bit confusing to me. ^^"

Homepages only work if you allow it to work, and put the time into making sure it's beneficial to your site..



Especially like Cf that offers plenty of services, and plenty of content then can be added to a homepage, allowing you the user to find the service your looking for.



Also as the above post stated it gives the site a chance to show up to date information on the site right on the frontpage... sometimes I don't feel like going to a forum to see all the updates, especially if I only can be on for 2 seconds lol...
