Wordpress is probably the best blog software you can possibly have.
They have a really good plugin installation system. I'd love to see plugin download AND install on forum software (we already have install).
I think Wordpress is a very good blogging software, definitely the best free one out there. And as el canadiano said, it has a fantastic plugin system.
