<span class='bbc_left'>One of the biggest gripes of vBulletin is the dated AdminCP. It still makes use of frames, hideous color scheme, and a early 2000&#39;s layout that hasn&#39;t changed or been improved upon in probably 10 years. With the advent of IPB 3, Admin CP layouts have really come a long way with using no frames at all, super easy navigation broke down to sections (Such as Members, Forums, Look & Feel etc) that all include sub navigational items.

Xenforo forum software looks to continue this, and with a quick sneak peak from Xenforo developer Kier Darby, we get a brief glimpse in to the world of Xenforo administration. Lets face it, thats what a lot of us are interested in, is if Xenforo is going to make our daily admin lifes quicker and easier.

    Check out the video.

    <span class='bbc_center'><object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://youtube.com/v/L2qO7kfdudw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://youtube.com/v/L2qO7kfdudw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object></span>

You can clearly see that the back-end has some huge plans for the software. With navigation tabs for Applications, Development, and Tools, it makes you wonder what all Xenforo has planned for the future. Perhaps an IPS like apporach to community building? Offering a core forum package, followed with useful additions like Gallery, CMS, Blogs, and perhaps even an online store in the future?

I think it would be cool to have an option of making your own tab. Then storing drag and dropping certain other sub tabs into that main one. If this makes sense I hope, but it would provide a sort of quick bar for you only, and maybe other admins who log in can make their own as well..

It could go on from there with the things, but their on the tip of my tongue but out of mind.

When I get to thinking of them, I will have to post something about it lol.
