The more you write the more you learn about you're own inherent ability to flow on and your learned abilities as they evolve
I found that the more that I post, the more that I post, if you get my drift?
Like it becomes easier to create content. But I need to learn to get better at creating more in-depth articles so as to out-do competitors. Most top bloggers seem to post quite lenghty well-thought out posts, but I sometimes think that my blog posts are almost like Tweets.
Continuous blogging will definitely improve your writing skills especially when you tend to search for words(synonyms, etc.) to be used rather than using the usual words.
It depends. I don't really think I have improved but I'm more conscious of what I'm saying and writing. I take extra precautions.
I think people start writing worse when they start blogging. Do you know how many blogs I have read that go like this:
"Today i......................went to school, and it was boring but my teacher was ok and i have a lot of homework and i .... sat around all day doing nothing after i got home"
Except much worse. I can't even write as badly as some bloggers do! Of course this stuff is on personal blogs, but still!
The constant action of writing will help improve your skills simply because you're getting in practice, but you also need to be wary of your progress and strive to improve on a conscious level.
Writing does helps in improving your writing. It's good to have a blog and write in it consistently. The key is to have focus and staying committed to the task.
