    Copyscape Alternatives

I'm a huge fan of Copyscape for detecting plagiarism, but here are a couple of additional tools that work a bit differently:

Submit Your Webmaster Related Sites to the NB Directory
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

One benefit of Plagium over Copyscape which i personally like is that it allows the end-user to check for plagiarism by directly placing the text without the need of hosting your content and providing the URL. This is specially useful for content writers who may want to check for uniqueness before hosting the content.

Nice share will. The Yahoo API based duplicate content checker is something i came across for the first time, will try it out

No, why it's free. I'm using it pretty frequently.

However I'm surprised, I recall some time back they had some funny limit like 2 or 5 searches per day and you couldn't do any more, now I use it quite a bit and haven't run into any limits yet.

Thanks for providing here the names of these tools. Actually, I haven't known anything besides Copyscape, and with Copyscape you have to pay for checking text in a file, not on a web-page. So I think I'll try some other tools, maybe they're really good.

Copyscape is the best duplicate checking website out there but the only bad thing about it that you have to pay something in return but when your are getting such level of service, you need to pay something in return.
