Thread: Do you using PLR Article for you blog/site ?

Hi guys just wanna ask, do you using PLR article on your blog/site as your content? PLR article is so cheap right now and i find the article is good quality. It's instant, you don't need to edit it, just copy paste and then your blog is contain new article .
But you also can rewrite PLR article so it will become fresh article.
About the affection of using PLR to SEO-related, farrhad said in other thread that it's just a myth and explain that duplicate content is not affecting your SERP. Because of that, so using the pLR is no longer a problem. But it's become a choice, use it or no.

Using PLR article mean :
- Saving time to write
- Saving effort to write

But there is a weakness of using PLR, people will think you're not good blogger because just using PLR. But the solution is already written above --> rewrite it (even the idea is not fresh anymore, but the content is become fresh).

So, do you use PLR article and why?

No, I'd never use a PLR article on my site. Yes, I agree you can rewrite it to make it unique, but personally I like to put my own twist and personality into my articles, so if I'm just rewriting to make it as unique as possible, I can't do this.

The way I see it, all I'd actually be doing is taking the facts from the PLR article, in which case I'd rather just look on forums or Google for the information I needed.

But you can make it rewritten+ add your personality there. So, if you have big sense of humor, you can add humor inside rewritten PLR article. If you a man which always deeply write article with detail, you can rewrite it and make it more deeply, etc. I don't know what you problem about PLR and personality , you can add it

Yes, when they've read the same thing hundreds of time before. And also when they are wise enough to use CopyScape.

That's why we need to rewrite it. Or even after rewritten, it will detected by using copyscape? Do you mean the topic? But since copying article PLR is not againts law, and it's not related to SE, then just make it a bit unique by rewrite it, it's become OK to be published on our blog.

Or i think, if you fear about quality of article, there is PLR which sell for limited package, so the quality is still safe.

I'm not being harsh, but when have you ever taken an article from someone's blog and scanned it through Copyscape?! I visit tens of blogs every day and I've never done that...

And Akira, I feel that if you're going to rewrite an article and add your personality, it'd just be easier to take the facts from the article and write it from scratch.

One, time problem. Not all people have free time, i'm so busy to write it from 0. Two, because you tell me something, that people is rarely to check article via copyscape which mean is so safe to use other ppl content. And i'm as a reader also, not too take attention when i read article, when i feel it's usefull, i'm thanks to blog owner and happy, even it's created by other ppl

By saying it's "safe" to copy content, what do you mean?! Copying content is wrong... it's illegal, it's unethical, and it's kind of cheating the system. Build a blog on copied content and it will come back to haunt you.

People work long and hard creating quality articles, so if you then go and copy them, all their hard work is for nothing. The way I see it, if you don't have time to write an original post, you shouldn't be a blogger. Why? Because you'll never have any time to advertise your site either, so it's a complete waste of time.

And, when you rewrite an article, what exactly do you do? Just change the words around a bit? Personally, I feel that a good article should have personality, and by just changing the words around you can't really get that.

Many times, sometime even on forums posts.

And I don't know why, but every time I think the article might be copied and that I use Copyscape to know if it is, I get positive results.

Lol, I've actually never done that unless buying a blog. Sorry, I just didn't realise people did it

Out of interest, what do you do once you've found it's copied? Contact the owner of the original article and inform him? Or...?
