How do we keep our readers engaged for longer?

Once you have caught your readers attention with the title, how do you keep them interested and hooked on to our articles for longer?

(Sorry if this question is nooby but I am just moving on to blogs)

Firstly, dude the question is not nooby at all. Infact I am sure many people will have the same question on their minds. Please do not hesitate at all with questions, we are all here to learn.

My tips will be:

- Get to the point fast. Do not make sentences long just for the sake of it.
- Show that you have a passion for the topic.
- Be a little conversational.

Related posts is the best way IMO as people wil want to read more.

Related posts are definitely a great way to get people reading more. Showcasing popular posts (for the month and for all time!) and having "Sneeze pages" (squeeze pages?) is great too.

Those are pages that have all posts on a certain topic (make money online, resources for freelancers, find clothes for your cat) listed on them with a small explanation of the goal.
