How do you write your articles?

How do you start writing articles about the topic you have no clue about?

I usually take a piece of paper and than use google to find related websites, read their articles and write down the main facts and than write article around these points.

Wikipedia. After that, head to google to look up more precise information.

Wikipedia is great resource but I usually write articles about really specific niches and I can't help with wiki...

Wikipedia is really useful when I write in my native language - I usually just translate english article from Wiki and make it a little bit shorter. It is quite an easy money...

This is a interesting thread.. writing articles is my biggest stumling block. I can research and come up with a good keyword and setup the website in a couple of hours but then I can't get around to filling it with content. so coming up with articles is my biggest weakness in making money online. I wish I had someone good who can write well. then I can look after the technical side and he/she can comeup with the content.

btw i think watching a video presentation or documentary about the new topic of your website help you understand and grasp the ideas more quickly. I remember reading some research article that said we remember 50% of what we hear and see at the same time like in tv and much less (something like 20% or so I think) if we read the same thing. if your new website is about say chinese silk drapers then checkout some video's it on youtube etc. I trying this technique since last week and it's learning more quickly about new things I make websites about.

DO NOT use Wikipedia as a resource for your articles. Anyone in the world can anonymously update a Wikipedia page, so you never know if the information on there is accurate. If you start publishing incorrect information, it will make you look less credible in your niche, which is no way to gain customers and profits!

Wikipedia is not 'open' so much anymore... You can't just change the article, you have to be registred and I think there is a kind of editors checking every change(truster wikipedia members). I use information from W. and than cross check it on other resources.
