    Are News Aggregators in Trouble?

AP and 28 News Groups Going After Aggregators | TechZwn

Interesting read. Makes you wonder if they will go after the "Little Guys" to send a message or just the big-time aggregator sites.

I'm surprised that they haven't gone after some of the sites more aggressively in the past. New articles are not in the public domain unless the original site offers them as such, so we are talking about these sites going after content thieves. The driver appears to be that they want royalties, which the small guys will never pay.
