You shouldn't have to train a writer.

I totally agree. You shouldn't have to tell them what to write. I recently hired someone to write about rose bushes. I wanted someone who was knowledgeable about the topic, not about SEO or anything like that. I got some pretty good articles. Cost me like $10 each, but the content was great.

train them on how you would write your articles if you was writing them yourself

True. It's always good to give someone a few pointers, ideas about including keywords, etc. I also like to have my writers use Scribe SEO which helps you through the SEO process when writing an article.
