Grammar is one of the most important factors, but that is not all writing is about. It should grab the interest of the readers. Your message must be conveyed in a right manner.

    lol

I just finished reading a research paper from Pakistan with great information and horrible grammar. Not saying it has anything to do with grammar, but it doesn't rank anywhere for its top keyword. But the English magazine's article using their data ranks on top of Google with what should be THEIR keyterm.

LOL...It is absolutely true. I agree to it. Content writing is not only all about grammar but conveying your message strongly to the people. And for that you need to know grammar completely.

Creating compelling contents is one thing, and trying to express the real ideas to the readers is quite another important issue. You can find some beautifully written articles that still seem a big vague because you will not notice what the author is actually trying to convey.

It is possible to use complex written styles, use geeky stuff when preparing articles and at the same time help readers figure out the real hidden meanings between the lines. Writing contents, loaded with grammatical and contextual errors will naturally scare off most readers.

As far as SEO Content writing is concerned, it has got to be grammatically correct!! But It must convey the message to the readers.

Writing is about how you present your content. It is related to the kind of language used and grammar. Its a complete package...that includes the thoughts, the structure of the sentences, grammar and the complete flow of the post.

I believe what you've said is true. I have known several people who writes with passion despite the grammar dilemma. There is always a big room for improvement and through this we can expect that people who write with passion will still be better than those with perfect grammar but doesn't give much time to master the topic he is writing about.

I think that many entrepreneurial people dropped out of school, and other successful business leaders are dyslexic. So I don't think that grammar ability is a reflection of the intelligence or business ability of the person. So this must pose a problem for the search engine algorithms that judge the grammar correctness of a piece of text.

I think in this case, Google would place more value on verified authorship using a Google+ profile than on the grammar.

Don't just Write to Write -- Write to Communicate! Use the language and jargon that best connects with your targeted niche audience. Some audiences will be sticklers about your grammar, while some could care less as long as they know where you're coming from. Bottom line: Communicate the best you know how, and if it's just too hard for you to express yourself to your audience effectively through the written word, then try recording videos, doing podcasts, voice-to-speech transcription, or outsourcing.
