How many submissions does your best directory get daily?

I'll be the first to answer:
My top directory, h3n.org, gets about 300 free submissions a day.

I was receiving lot before 2 PR updates but now i am not caring about my directory i think its time. i got a pr improvement

That's great! How many premium submissions do you get per month? Is it allowed for you to send an email to all submitted links' owners? With an advertising promotion or something?

As long as you stay can-spam compliant and give the user the option to opt-out I believe it's absolutely fine.

I try to get through some everyday, but I am still a few months behind (currently over 11,000 pending).

Thanks for answering. Now on another note, how much could you get for a directory like h3n? With the amount of submissions and all?

I am not really sure. I don't get a lot of featured links, but I do make decent money off the ads in all the e-mails being sent out and I am working to monetize the e-mail list I am building from it.

I'd rather not say in terms of "Paid Submissions". Though we do get quite a few both paid and unpaid. I've not had a day without a paid submission since we started and we've had the directory 5 years. The unpaids usually end up paying as well.

We have a steady and consistent flow of paid submissions daily. I credit the steadiness as being due to our constant updates and low price.

My other directory is a bit more pricey and sees a significantly lower number of submissions. The quality is a bit more refined as a result and volume is overcome by price.
