I've just submitted a site to a foreign directory based in a European country, although the directory is in English.
I just wonder what advantages, if any, this might bring me. The site has Adsense on it.
At present most of the traffic is US\UK\Can.

I have no proof of this, but many people believe that local links will help you in local search.
For example: If you have more links from sites in Spain, you will rank better in google.es.
by getting international links your site is becoming authority site...
