Thread: is it okay to submit link to a lower pr directory?

Yup..backlink is most imp part..so do it in any directory......and who knows the directory site is got tht PR on what time.

Though you make submission on such directories that have lower rank than your site but you need to be careful for the relevancy of the directory or the site. As relevancy is the most important for better site results. And other thing which is crucial is the unique and attractive description to get people to click on own links and then only you will get more results than other.

When I did directory submission, I also submitted it to any directories. But I checked on the relevancy of the directory first. But I think it's better that you submit first to the high PR directories.

Okay, here is a directory that the main page is a page rank 5.
Here is another directory that has no page rank.

One gets 500 visitors per day.
The other gets 50 visitors per day.

Which do you take first?

If you say, the directory with 500 visitors per day, and it has no page rank, you are better off than most naive webmasters.

Remember, page rank is crap when it comes to directories!
Look at those directories that say we have this page rank and we have this page rank.
MOSTLY JUST ON THE INDEX PAGE!!!
Interior pages where your like will be?
PAGE RANK ZIP....

Most directories now are built on domains that got page rank!
The page rank did not come from the directory itself and it may lose all that page rank at next update!
Just another way that directory owners try to scam webmasters!!!!!
