Few years ago most directories sent traffic to websites.
If there is no traffic, it is worthless tome.

I have a suggestion for your Desan. Why you are looking for some directory link. If you want to bring traffic and you have $$$, just hire someone if you can't do it yourself and get some rich content, blog posting, forums posting, or may be make a video and upload it on youtube. That would really help you in getting some good traffic. Just forget Directories for this purpose

I currently use PPC ads (mostly AdWords), Youtube videos, and articles (I don't write articles myself). But I would like to expand my promotions. Something easy to do, or easy to outsource.

Adwords is off course a very good way to bring genuine traffic to your site but you can have other options as well. Like hiring a blog commenter, put your ads on some relevant website (banner I guess) etc. (if you have some $$$

I do not like banners. I have had some bad experiences with them

But I think I could hire someone to comment on blogs. Or maybe do it myself.

Last night I had this idea. Make account on few forums. Then hire someone to post few posts a day on those forums. $10/100 posts. And then put my link on the sig. This could work.

Certainly! I had a celebrity fan website and I joined some celebrity forums, you wont believe the clicks I received from those sites. A lot of traffic comes this way. What I want to say here is that always sign up on communities related to you niche. That will surely help you getting some decent traffic also it will help in developing your backlinks.
