what do you thing should be the value of this domain.
Hostly gets 720 broad global searches a month.
It's not really a keyword and it's not the kind of name that really jumps out at you.
It is brandable, I suppose - but that's about it. I'd say it's worth the registration fee.

I am also looking for ideas as to how i can develop this domain and extract good revenue from it.
Well, the name has 'host' in it - so let's explore that...
1. You could start a hosting company. Buy a reseller package from HostGator or something.
This has the most potential, but will take a bit of time to get it going.
2. Create a blog about hosting - talk about different companies, different types, etc.
