Bad news for misspelled domains

i'm wondering how long it takes for Google to stop suggesting "ascend" when someone types "adscend media" (my company).
right now it'll say "did you mean ascend media?"
but, we've had an improvement. until recently, when you googled us, it would say that and then actually list two results from ascendmedia.com, then a horizontal line before the real search results. now it at least doesn't do that.

The word adscend needs to be promoted more/longer. In the beginning of Aquarezz, they always suggested 'Did you mean squares?' but now that's over, since Aquarezz has now over 25+ pages listed

I wonder though if the similarity of the words is taken into cosideration. Since Aquarezz is far from being "squares" and ours is a one-letter difference.

That's something you could start analyzing for some webmaster forums, how much promotion a word needs to have before it's taken in Google as a 'real keyword'.

lol I wish that were true

That would show them that they're stupid in every way.

BTW, Wabuf is now corrected to WSABUF

Shame on you Google! You never did the WSABUF thing until recently >_<

I rank for #1 for hundreds of misspelled word. I post and write articles when I'm drinking and tired and the spell check is merely a suggestion that I often chose to ignore. Google is ruining my business model.
