Default Beginner Needs a Bit of Help

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum as well as web design. I've only read up a little, my goal, like most of us is to make money. I'm interested in AdSense offered by Google and possibly hosting my site on GoDaddy.

What I'm looking for basically is some tips from more experienced Webmasters on starting up, mistakes that can be avoided, really anything that can help. I do have a 2 year degree in Information Technology so the replies can be somewhat advanced and I will get the meaning.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the forum.

How To Start Making Money With Adsense-A Basic Guide For Beginners

However, feel free to purchase a domain from GoDaddy but I'd recommend some other company for hosting like bluehost, hostgator, hostmonster or hostnine as cheapest so far.

Moreover, don't expect easy and huge money with adsense right in the beginning. It sounds good but bit tricky to go that far. You should better try in affiliate marketing. That's a far better way to make money online.

Hope this helps you

Yep, CB is absolutely right, there's no such thing as a canned "get rich quickly" manual, if anyone told you so they're lying.
Feel free to browse around and ask as many questions as you want, there's plenty of members here that would love to help you out.

Cheers,

Shenron

I have learned over the years that you should never admit to yourself that your goal is to make money.

It takes a little time and patience but once you convince yourself that you are building a website for the visitors (even though it is actually for money), your website will become successful, you won't loose interest and you will make much much more money than if you were creating site solely for money.

The sky is the limit once your use this method

Get over to Making Money Blogging - Blog Stew there must be something over there that can help you out!

The main thing is to aim to make money but enjoy producing content and managing your sites. This way the money will come in as a type of by product from your work.

Welcome to the forum. My advice is to put your best foot forward. You are in information technology? You have an edge over many here when it comes to providing some information about this topic. What I like to see people do is use the web and what they learn here as a tool to become representatives of their crafts on the internet.
I would start a blog and start sharing your knowledge and then learn how to get people who are interested to your site.
Then learn adsense optimization, start a consulting service, you name it, there are few limits to what you can do.
