Thread: Best Domain Registrar

I use fabulous.com mostly, they have the cheapest rates around and since I have over 1000 domains there even little differences make a difference.

Also using namecheap, godaddy, mydomain, enom, moniker, dotster, and a bunch of others.

Either of these is fine, BUT don't register domains with your hosting company (you know when they give a free domain with hosting plan) and don't use 3rd party registrar.

1and1 are the worst, but netsol compete hard. IN fact netsol is not only crappy, but also expensive.

Looks decent, never heard of them.

EuroDNS is also pretty bad...

great advice. i have few domains which i needed months to transfer to my registrar. and i have few which i still not transfered to my account.

they are mostly a parking a company, so it's basically just for domainers, you need to have a good portfolio to get accepted for the reseller pricing.
But they have an excellent interface and the cheapest prices.

P.S. renewals are a bitch

I have my domains with GD, Internet.bs , Namecheap, DomainSite, Pubdomains.in , Name.com. I guess Internet.bs seems to cheapest for me now

My worry with using that many registrars is that I will drop the ball with one and lose a domain.

I lost a .cz domain because of something of that nature. The registrar sold my domain without a single email to me reminding me of the domain expiration or asking for payment.

My .fr domain registrar doesn't allow you to pay in advance for more than one year.

This was one of the reasons I moved every domain I could to one registrar -- NameCheap.

Get a decent Domain Management Software like DRT (aff link inside - you get a huge discounted price - Thx ) or Watch my Domains Pro. (I use both)

An Excel sheet would work also...

DRT is da best imho.

Excel would have worked if I wasn't so disorganized.

That's why I suggest those.
I had an excel worksheet also, but those work for me as I'm also disorganized.
