I think this is going overboard with the .co hype. It seems that everyday that there's a new tld.

    Channel Islands .GG .JE

    .IM Isle of Mann

.gs South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands

    Gibraltar .GI

    .gl Greenland

I think this one's going to be a bit different from all the other tld's.

It will probably take some time before the general public is familiar with the .co. Before that, it may create confusion when marketing your .co url. I guess many people will think it's a .com

As before Colombia took legal action on .uk.co and that domain was blocked from use leaving many unhappy customers...this could happen again with the .co but worser....

I think most people will be confused and think something is missing from the domain name (typo) and automatically type in .com

Hopefully it works ok for keyword SEO though.

With SEO it will depend on what Google wants to do. Some other tlds like .us and .biz are almost worthless.

Good point about the confusion with the .co and .com tlds.

Though there could be some value in the LLL, LLLL, and complete words.
