Yesterday, Google announced that the .CO TLD will have all the same geo-targeting options available to the other generic TLDs, such as .com, .net, .biz and .org.
It is interesting that Google would make a statement like that. The issue of giving it the same geo-targeting options as .biz is what I would be most concerned with. .biz has turned out to be a loser that is not treated the same as .com, .net and .org.
I think a lot of us will be watching this, but given what we have seen with other ccTLDs, I'm naturally skeptical.
