Hey guys,
I am thinking about buying but it is .co.uk
It is not the com/org/net but how will google view this domain?
If the .com was to rise up out of the wood work would I have a disadvantage?
Thanks in Advance!

I have a .co.uk domain and it's doing well. But the site is geo specific. I think that a .co.uk can do well. At the least you will get the UK traffic.
The little sucker is expensive but I think it is worth it. Thanks guys
$600 US..lol..but its exact match for over million searches a month
$600 is a nice chunk of change. Will UK traffic help you?
I think that it's just as important on where the links originate from. If most of the links are from US sites and .com, the site should rank.
But I don't see too many of the country specific tlds when I'm searching.
Well for ads in general the best paying countries are UK/US/CA/AU so yeah in the long run I would say it would help me. I do know, its a gamble. You can rank for anything it just always helps having exact match because at any time, the exact matchers can come out of the wood work and without to much work take you over.
So thats why I am considering buy this and the .org/.net/.com are so freaking expensive...so yeah
Here's a good article about domains jumping in value
