Thread: Which Domain extensions do you prefer?

Hi,

I am thinking about to know and ask you people about which domain extensions do you prefer much?

I will prefer only .com, .net and .org.

For me .com, .net and .in

Well it all depends,for sites based on keywords and SEO,that need to rank high .com .net .org are the best,but if I work on projects I sometimes use the national domain or even domain hacks,it all depends on the situation

I'll always get the .com first if possible.

I prefer .com, net and .org

However, I do own several domains under other extensions like, .info, .cn, .ca, .biz

.com but will use .info for blogs and small projects

I like .com and then .net. But my most valuable site is .fm - which just proves that its all in the brand and the marketing

I cant say this enough,if you are willing to build sites,then the domain isn't really that important,but of course for niche sites targeting keywords exact match domains are important...

I like .com, .org and .info (I'm not a fan of the .net)

The .info can be useful depending on the project and can be a good complement when you already own the .com

I like .info 'cause they happen to be the cheapest
But otherwise domain extensions are purely hyped up by the public, it doesnt matter if you have a .com or .net Its the content of your site that really matters.
