    Domain Name Scam!

Today, I received the following e-mail:

I am selling the .COM version of your domain name

I am asking $100 for the domain name, let me know if this interests you
and I can setup a secure Escrow transaction for the transfer of ownership
    over to you.

    Global Domains

And I sent them the following reply:

    Hi there.

I find that quite hard to believe, since I own the .COM version of
ProxyRun.COM - better luck next time.

This looks like one of those typical domain name scams. Send me the money and I'll give you a domain you want... These things have been around for years. The funny thing about this one is that he specifically referenced my site ( and then offered me the .COM version... which I own!
