Thread: Domain Privacy Services

That assumes that if you are online you can "hide"....if people are determined enough, the only way to really "hide" is to just not ever be online...

The privacy services can't hide the details from police.

I think the real spammers/scammers use fake names and adresses, they don't use privacy services because what they want is to hide their personal details from anyone, registrar, public etc, if they hide their name, address when they signup with a domain name provider there is no reason to pay for privacy services. In the second place they use fake details not privacy services to gain the customer trust, to create a false impression of transparecy.
