Exact Match Domain Bonus for .co.uk Domains

.com, .net, .org, and the country-level TLD .co.uk receive the exact match bonus.

I'm wondering if .the co.uk TLD is approved for international use like the .co extension?

I've been doing some research on the health niche and all that's available on the keyword is .info and .co.uk. I've seen some .co.uk rank on informational topics. But i questioning whether a information site based in the US word rank on the .com and that US users will click through. Though there's always the possibility that the site would get enough UK traffic to make a small investment worthwhile.

  2. Apparently they have the EMD bonus... in the UK. I don't know how well it translates across the pond.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Isn't that determined by the availability of the Geographic target thickbox on the Google webmaster tools/site configuration/setting page?

With webmaster tools you can target an international domain i.e. .com, .org and .net to a specific country. I don't think that it works the other way. Though they say that they take the IP address of the home server into account.

  5. I'm pretty sure that also look at the address in the WHOIS record.
