So I should start checking there in 60 days?

Forgive me for being so inexperienced in this aspect.

Thanks for the help thus far. Luckily, I have nothing to worry about anymore because I contacted my partner and he got the domain renewed.

Now hopefully I can get it transferred to my account so that I can handle it from now on and avoid this in the future.

What happens if the domain is not registered with godaddy ? Say if the domain was registered here...

I've now waited for 2 months but the domain is still pending for one of the domains I'm willing to buy. How much longer should I wait? (the domain is @Dynadot)

They say it takes 30 days, but after 60 days you find it strange that it's still locked.. what can be the problem here? It's not listed in the marketplace there either so..

According to Shenron (post #4), it can take up to 65 days plus 7 more... which is 72 days.

I hope you get to grab the domain. Be sure to let us know how it goes.

I've now waited for 77 days and it's still not possible to purchase it. I'm getting pissed about this Hopefully it will be available soon.. as I'm really getting tired of checking it daily..

I suppose the domain wasn't expired on November 9th but rather on December 9th, which means you might need to add another 30 days there.
