Thread: Godaddy Question

Hello,
I can't find the answer.. but probably you guys know better...

@GoDaddy, are the domains set on 'auto-renew' automatic or not?
As I don't want to renew my domains (they are proxies so...)

Can someone help?

It should be an account setting, in your profile with a valid credit card attached.

Just hover your mouse over the column which shows espiration date for those domains and you will see whther they are set to auto renew or not and can change it by clicking on the icon. Hope that helps I cant give better description as I am not logged into my GD account and am going by memory.

Found it, and yes they are automaticly on the status "Renew"...

Good I told them to not renew them

I learned my lesson in december. I had a free domain from Register.com and it got renewed for $35!! ..

Yeah, the default is usually auto renew, I am sure they bank on folks not noticing that way they can make more money.
