    GoDaddy for Sale

GoDaddy.com, the popular website registrar famous for its raunchy Super Bowl ads that feature scantily clad women, is for sale, according to The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news late Friday.

The sale of Go Daddy, which currently registers 43 million Web domains, could fetch $1 billion, the paper reported, citing "people familiar with the matter."

Crap. It's at its peak and has a great potential to become bigger. WTF is Bob Parsons thinking.
With a new owner there is a tendency for a change, probably registration,etc... price hikes??
Would be a bad scene if anything were to go wrong.

It doesn't surprise me that he wants to sell. Almost every entrepreneur reaches a point where it is time to sell out and sit back and enjoy the fruits of their passion.

He sold his first company for $64 million in 1994.

He's now 60 years old. Wouldn't you like to retire with a cool billion? That's a nice end to a long career.

You have to quit your job once mate, the owner will enjoy the money he will get instead of keep getting information about something he might not be interested in anymore

He just wants to relax before he dies I guess
