I was wondering if there are any places to get domains for cheaper than $10? Also....does the place of purchase make a difference in the quality of the domain?
Well, you can get .info at godaddy for 0.89
Recently, I've bought .com domain names at Namecheap.com for something like $8.81 (by searching for Namecheap.com coupon codes to take a little off the price). You can probably get .com's even cheaper at GoDaddy, but sometimes I like to go for the underdogs rather than the huge companies (to foster competition, or something).
Did you know Godaddy has a special offer, .com domains are $5.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
Yes, there is a $0,18 ICANN fee, which means the total cost is $1,07 -- But it's still almost freeThe Godaddy info's are at amazing prices, it's like a deal I thought that would end fast but it keeps staying like this (the price got even lowered..)
Godaddy is so amazing.. when it comes to .info's![]()
