How can I find the cheapest domain?

I was wondering if there are any places to get domains for cheaper than $10? Also....does the place of purchase make a difference in the quality of the domain?

Yeaaaah, I don't want any .info's, but thanks! Still pretty cheap for someone desperately in need of a domain.

I registered one .info domain lately, from 0.89 it goes to around $1+ for registration fee I think.

Yes, there is a $0,18 ICANN fee, which means the total cost is $1,07 -- But it's still almost free The Godaddy info's are at amazing prices, it's like a deal I thought that would end fast but it keeps staying like this (the price got even lowered..)

Godaddy is so amazing.. when it comes to .info's

I guess this means that, provided you have enough of these sites to make the hosting fees relatively negligible*, each site needs to earn just $0.003 a day in order to break even. That's a three cent click every ten days! Should be doable...

*You actually need loads of these cheap sites to dwarf typical hosting costs.

You can get hosting by O2ProxyHost for less than $10,- per month (120$ per year). And you can host around 100 proxies on that package, that's about $107 + $120 in one year -- a total of $227 costs, that makes $0,62 per day which should be easily made when you have 100 proxies running

Recently, I've bought .com domain names at Namecheap.com for something like $8.81 (by searching for Namecheap.com coupon codes to take a little off the price). You can probably get .com's even cheaper at GoDaddy, but sometimes I like to go for the underdogs rather than the huge companies (to foster competition, or something).

With godaddy I usually buy a domain and 3 months of wordpress hosting for $18 total. Not bad really. I was just hoping some other places had them cheaper.
