What a strange question Never really thought about it until you asked.

For me, it's an idea that is starting to come together.
    1. Have the idea
    2. Select a domain
    3. Source content
    4. Deploy site

I did go through a phase where I purchased domains willy nilly, without the 1st phase. Not a good idea, now I've got all these domains and no real interest in them. Bummer

Yeah,I learnt that from my past experience. When i was a newbie to this field,I first started a blogspot blog on health niche and used shoppingads.com to make revenue from clicks.it almost took 4 months for me to reach the minimum payout of 25 dollars.I then bought 4 domains out of it.All became a failure for me since i didn't concentrate much on SEO and competitions.

i sold them each for just 1 dollar....

since then i really think a lot before registering a domain and how much competitions i am gonna face for it...It saves a lot of money from getting wasted..

I feel bored & confused. I always have no idea what kind of site should I develop it into.

I develop the content before selecting the domain.

I'm definitely doing that with my next website. It makes everything so much.....easier. But how do you know how much to write for a specific thing?
