Call me old fasion and such, but if I know that I am going to be making an information site, I get a .info over a .com(I'm not a 100% why I do that but I do :/), and if I am making a network I get a .net etc etc.
dashes aren't the best but if your mind is set on a few words, you might as well get it.
Difficult...i still think doesn't matter so much but has some importance. Com, .Net are better than .info
Not sure about the ccTLDs but i saw the .me domains are not ranking bad. ( owned by someone else ).
Great info. What do you do when somebody gets the .com and you are left with the .net...
Well unless you really wanna try and buy .com from the .com owner, you're left with one option: Make a better site then the owner of the .com. better content, more seo etc etc. If it all works out well you will be above him in the results(even with the brand boost of the .com).Quote:
