According Greatdomains dot com
kredit.com sold for 220,000 EUR ($269,000)
some another great sales:
chinavision.com 75,000 $US
ubp.com 70,000 $US
sleep.org 7,500 $US
pig.com 125,000 $US NameMedia
I don't see a point in that. I would buy a some keyword with 'kredit' in it and than spend 220000 EUR on advertising(I would get thousands of targeted visitors for that amout). But on the other hand this is great PR stunt...

its not surprising. there are more overpriced 3letter domains in sedo.
$41,000 is a lot of money for a domain. Though this amount could be cheap for a domain that is already branded and getting traffic.
I guess the value really depends on what the buyer needs the domain for. Spam.com
is probably useless to us, but very valuable to Hormel foods.
