I saw this article last month. No one here is talking about this (or I'm missing something). Any predictions?

Oops - I just found more information. I stopped reading at the evaluation fee (upwards of $100K USD).

Here is the full article for those who arent members of that link and I am thinking

ICANN reports that it expects to process 500 applications for the domains in its first round, at a cost of $185,000 per application and an annual registry fee of either $75,000 or 5 percent of transactional revenue.

This is known for a few months already, and imho it will boost the value of .com more and more.

I should have read up more, before posting! It's already a non-issue...just read that crazy article back in December, so it's been in the back of my mind...
