That is pathetic you would need to get 900 clicks a year just to pay for the domain .

Ok, maybe not 1 cent, but the best I have is www.egarcade.com with an average of $0.038 per click in 2009.

Arcade Sites can be profitable in a number of ways. I used to run some back in the day.
Turned quite a profit... This is why I just bought car race games.

To profit with an arcade site, you need to think outside of the box. Mochi is one great earning opportunity. (But still sort of inside the box.)

Recently of lot of my higher earning sites are arcade sites. I picked up a couple of these as well.

Exact match arcade domains are good because you can setup an arcade, build a couple links (literally two are fine) and wait 6 months for it to start ranking.

When it does you can go back in and reevaluate the site in regards to ads and what you want to do with it.

Do this 10 times and you have yourself a small little empire of arcade sites to then use to promote one big one - or whatever niche related that you want.

Right. It's all about being a little creative.

Obviously you won't be earning a thousand dollars a day from arcade sites, but if you execute your plan properly you will certainly find yourself turning a profit. You can do everything from the Mochi ads I mentioned above to AdBrite to even selling links on your page. There are quite a few opportunities with this niche.

As Nux stated above, these 'exact match domains' are quite valuable especially. Buy a few of them, network them together - and there you go.

Plus, if you know anybody who's in school, pass the word along and make sure they (and all of their friends) play on your arcade during class. xD

Those names aren't deleted, they're just free to register.
