Hey, I was wondering if anyone had any input on us.com domains. Is there any downside? I haven't really seen any big sites, or really any at all on us.com domains.
I apologize if this is the wrong forum, as I looked through them all and couldn't find one more appropriate.
I'm just debating between keywordkeyword.us.com and keyword-keyword.us or keyword-keywords.info or something.
I appreciate all input.
I worry about CentralNIC going out of business or raising prices or changing rules or doing any number of other stupid things to screw up their subdomain holders.
I wouldn't use a us.com domain for any project that I was going to spend time and money building links to.
That is my first impression as well. Their main page is just simply ads...Just kind of tempting as a lot a good keywords are available. Oh well.
I suggest you go for keyword-keyword.us, if you are targeting us visitor. As their is no diff. But still there are many myths. .us Tld is coutry level tld not so popular but i will effect your ranking as a geo targeting.
dont go for this "keywordkeyword.us.com" if as per space is concern google count "-" hyphen as space. ok
another option go for keyword-keyword.com .
