VPS is a Virtual Private Server. It is similar to a dedicated server, but you only have a portion of the server. A VPS server gives you a minimum guaranteed share of the memory, hard drive space and other server resources.

It is not a good idea to migrate to a VPS server unless you know something about how to configure a server. You should have some technical knowledge about servers before attempting to move to a VPS server.
