    Well if it's in another niche, just renew it, as in other niches, being afraid of being filtered isn't normal... And if the site becomes pretty big (not proxy-niche related), you should try to buy a .com name, as it might sell for much more than a .info.. (Since .info is looked by a lot of people spammy, thanks to all the proxies & cheap rates )

    Agree as well, People hardly make anything on .info's these days, and would be superstupid to do so.

    .info are for fun purposes and trial basis. for regular basis never use them, u just save money for 1st year -- renewal cost remains same , but these .info never come up in ranking - how good seo done n them
