Thread: Whats the charges for .info renewls at godaddy.

just asking becaz i want to start proxy and i think .info domain is cheap and best to make proxy.

but is the renewals also in 0.99$ or any change in charges for renewals.

There $0.99 at go daddy at the moment but the renewal fees go up to about the same price as a .com which is about $9 its all on there website http://www.godaddy.com

I haven't had much experiance with proxys I have had a bit unless your planning on ranking on google for a keyword such as unblock myspace I don't think that there is any point in buying a .com as people want fresh proxys that arn't banned from schools and the older your proxy is the more chance your school knows about it I think and you can buy alot more .infos instead of buying 1 .com.
But anyway you can lock your own threads by going to thread tools and then lock thread or something

thanks sam, this is nice idea that buy .info domain and use them 1time and then no need to care about renewals.
really this is nice idea, and if my any .info proxy got lot of traffic then will renewal only that domain.

@TopicStarter: NEVER renew your .info's, except if the .info has an amazing position for some keywords in Google that gives you at least 1000 unique visitors per day. What I mostly do, is 2 weeks before the domains expire, redirecting it to 'new bough' proxy domains.

Renewing .info's doesn't make much sense as the domain is blocked almost everywhere by than, so it's waste of money. Rather pay for 4 or 5 new .info domains than renew the blocked .info

Good advice, But what if .info is a niche site an already established?
I agree usualy info's are used for proxy only.
