I usually just use Instant Domain Search to find a good domain and register it at GoDaddy.
Will - I suggest you register at Pool.com , which is one of the best/largest domain marketplaces.
I generally would go to Namepros.com if I wanted to look for a domain, although mostly I've been lucky enough to have all my domains unregistered or expired from a previous owner :)
Is there anyway to find out who owns the domain if it's "unlisted" or the information is restricted?
I mentioned the domain to my employees...and now, that domain is taken. It's a weird name, related to a new service we're introducing. Shame on me for not registering before mentioning (prior to settling on a name, I had checked the domain I wanted). ........hmmmmmmmm....
There is one member at DNF that provides this kind of service - Rockefeller I guess. (not 100% sure)
Now I am 100% sure :D - http://www.dnforum.com/f60/domain-in...ad-303081.html

If you have a moniker account they can typically get you in touch with the owner, I'd recommend either Chris Leggatt or Tony Clark (He handles a portion of Frank Schilling's portfolio)
I'm glad it all turned out well. :)
