I'm not familiar with ExamineURL. Show me a few example domains that are "black listed" there?

Thanx Spencer for those sites. It's possible to have a great domain name that's expired. Anyway, how to know, if some of those expired domains are possibly blacklisted or rejected by search engines?

Even if they are, you can have them reincluded.

Most are reincluded automatically within a couple of months after they stop being parked pages.

  5. Expired Domains

Network Solutions, the original Internet/web registrar, has a page where you can search for expired domains:

    www.networksolutions.com/domain-name-registration/pending.jsp

I used to use JustDropped, but honestly with any dropped domain it's rare for a good one to actually slip through the cracks. The good ones are either backordered or snagged by folks with software waiting for it to expire.

That makes good logical sense, but for some reason I have had luck finding decent domains that the usual group of domainers have missed or passed over. This may be because my criteria are different. They are generally looking for domains to speculate on, while I am usually looking for domains to develop.

Very true. Good idea when you buy domains to check to see if the seller provides free locking on your domain and if they charge for it.
