Well, an idea of ballpark price does help eliminate those machinations ({M's with no response)...unless I'm unusually moved by a domain name, I wouldn't send a PM with an offer...if there was a ballpark idea on a name, I may bid, etc if the owner's ballpark price interested me. Best of luck with the sale.
