For me it has been the same for most of the domains.But sometimes they will fluctuate by 1 pagerank.

To keep the pagerank 'as is',start to build links immediately once you buy the domain.:)

yes, it they can be backordered only at name.com since those domains were previously registered at name.com...:)

you can buy them instantly.
- Login to your account
- Go to the expired domains section at name.com
- Search the domain
- Add to cart and checkout...
