    Driving in Russia

This is an interesting collection of traffic incidents caught on dash cam videos in Russia. If you are going to drive in Russia, make sure that you buckle your seat belt.

FYI. Russians use dash cameras to prove their innocence in an accident due to weak insurance coverage. There are also a lot of hit and run incidents, insurance scams and aggressive driver confrontations

Always keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead rather than dodging and weaving past.

I am seeing more and more Americans here using dash cams.
Ford dealer here has dash cams to put into cars.

    Been thinking about that.

I would like to have phasers (to replace the horn) fitted to my vehicle so it's easy to blast annoying drivers out of the way.

But then, the insurance companies would be screaming!
But damn, that is a good idea!
How about a phaser that screws up with the offending vehicles transmissions or electrical systems?

An EMP transmitter could handle that. It could be an option with electric vehicles that have high power batteries.

It looks like in Russia there is not a lot of signage.

..and if you go on walking there, better do like SpiderMan and climb on the buildings i'd say, after watching that video..

Anyway, a seat belt helps but it can't do wonders. Always drive carefully, in Russia or not.

Damn! That car disintegrated when the truck hit it. I don't think the driver walked away from that.
