Don't use Digital Point then! There are a few nice sites and bad ones:
Nebuilders.org - good features, very good administration! (3 months old)
LovingTech.net - great design, great functionality, well modded (3 weeks old)
Digital Point - moderated really poorly, puts me off, 1000s members, scammers etc (years old)
I have never had multiple accounts detected at DP or anywhere else, but I use different IP addresses for access with different accounts. I use multiple ISPs, each of which generates a different IP address. A $9.95 per month AT&T account that I've kept for over 10 years has paid for itself in many ways.
As far as DP is concerned, I have given up on it. It has turned into a cesspool of useless posts and worthless information.
stickycarrots, if you sign up for another account at DP, be sure to flush your IP address with your ISP and get a new IP address before you sign up. Better yet, stick to a better class of forum, such as NetBuilders.org.
You don't lose much I think. DP used to be very useful, but since a year now, a bunch of young scammers took over. These are smart enough to fool the mods, who ban serious users instead. I don't miss DP. The fact that I've been banned gives me the opotunity to spend more time on my sites and less on forums.
I'm sure I'll be back there, but as a viewer more than a poster. You don't have to violate the rules there to violate the rules...
Eventually I will probably register at DP again or try to use one of my multiple other accounts I created last year, but for the most part I am done with them right now. I am going to start posting more on here and the AffiliatePrograms.com Forum.
I have made another account on DP right now :D Since a while ago in fact (1 week to be correct)
I earned 350$ so far, as I did some PM's to some people that might be interested in some things.
I have 0 posts though I have a few iTraders already...
Mostly people don't trust me in the beginning as they don't believe I'm the banned Aquarezz, but than I'm asking them to join NB so I can send them a PM :D
That mostly helps (and probably helps the NB community)
Though DP sucks,but it's pretty good for some businesses..
