Email Spam - Some of it is funny!

One of my sites has to do with wild animal rehabilitation. Earlier this summer I posted a very prominent email link on it "Please send me your suggestions". I've received lots of suggestions, lots of off-topic comments, but today's... ok... it MUST be SPAM... right??

I recently received a message from someone who wanted to solicit business as a content writer. Part of the messages said:

We are native speekers who always write best Englush and get top rank position.
Of course, with talent like that I hired him immediately. The IP address indicated that the message was from India. I wasn't sure if the message was a spam message and a joke, or if he actually does write good Englush.

I got a message via the forum feedback mechanism a couple of days ago that said:
Hi! This is my first time registering to the forum but it won't allow me. I am a spammer but I havent even done anything. Pls help
All I can figure is the Philippines must have really strict truth-in-advertising laws.

My response to this would be, "Sure. I will be happy to help you. Go sign up at DigitalPoint."

It is a good thing that guy is in the Philippines. If he was in the USA, you might end up with a lawsuit from some slick attorney based upon "restraint of trade."
