How to shake the DP addiction?

So what's the cure? Has anyone found a reliable cure for a DP addict?

These days, I just cruise through there every few days looking for bargains with domains or content, and then I leave. Occasionally, I find a good deal, but it is rare. DP is overwhelmed with scammers, morons and crap.

The trick is to stay out of the areas that got you addicted. You can waste a ton of time on DP and not accomplish anything useful. I have seen some very good PHP programmers who spent too much time helping people on DP and bankrupted their businesses.

Every time I find myself getting involved with something on DP that wastes my time, I smack myself on the side of the head and close the browser.

If you like forums, spend more time on Net Builders. It is the antidote for the DP addicted masses.

Yes, I've wasted my time with a few people who claimed they were interested in purchasing my sites on DP and just spun me round in circles.

Nice to be on a webmaster forum that isn't infraction and ban happy though

I agree. I think once you pass the 10 posts/day, you are in the wrong path, unless you're the owner and make money from it...

I'm not shaking my addiction yet as the market has been a major source of income for me and I've had no problems whatsoever.

DP is good for income, Netbuilders prides itself with quality.

Well.. There is nothing like that !!

I am on DP from last 7 months and never faced any problem like that..

Its just that whom you select to do a deal !

And remember I never go with newbies there !
I prefer to do any trade with a reputed or old member !

And so I never got any thing like that...

It's mainly people from singapore that I have found drop out of sales. Hate to generalise but that's been my experience.

I'm hoping to find people who are actually interested in the deal get back to me here and finish it off or at least keep in contact.
