Just got banned on DP because I notified the Admins about my brothers account.

I do not understand this at all.

I just got banned on DP because I notified my the admins that it was a possibility that my brother and I were using the same IP.

I saw the new TOS changes and it said to notify the admins before you got caught and I was doing just that.

The next day I logged in and "banned"

I am really dissappointed. (not to mention my brother is very mad because now we have no way of promoting our business on the forum)

I made a post in the feedback section I believe. I figured Shawn never checks his PMs so it would not do anything.

I am literally crying because my account less alone Dave, my brothers is gone.

Ah, I just found the link. The problem was that you and your brother both participated in the same thread... If you have two accounts on the same IP you should stay away from each other.

How long was the ban for ?

Oh no, I can not believe that would effect anything. The ban was FOREVER. We are just 2 honest people. We never spammed or black hatted anything and we get slapped in the face.

I can not believe they are going to do something like this. I am really really dissappointed at DP. A year on the forum and wow no loyalty from them at all. I hope something might change this. But I doubt.

I see it now. That looks bad. I did not know that we had posted the same topic twice. I even spoke to him before I posted mine on both posts!! It seems like there is nothing else we can do as it looks bad.

You think the moderator might of had a little bit more class, but I understand his opposition as this is a huge problem on the forum.

Why would I make a post like this if it was not true. Why would I open a can of worms like this if it was not true?

WebEvader would you mind sending him an email. I do not want to open another account and create more attention and turmoil.

Thats bad man. but DP does that almost always !! just let go of it. I was banned for my ISP was providing dynamic IP. How bad is that ? After I had almost spent 2 years there ...

Yeah, I am just deeply saddened as I can no longer participate in the forum. I mean DP is where I begin. (Which was not to long ago.) And my brother is pretty much not talking to me.

It is ashame. I just wish the admins could see that our accounts were never used to spam, cross promote or bump.
