Why would you want to do that? That would open the forum up to spammers.

I agree, we don't need PM spam.

I'm a bit confused. What do you mean by "PM from all members"?

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Let me clarify it: I'd like to email a person about his services in the Marketplace section of the forum. So I send a PM to him. But I am not sure if he will receive my PM at all, since PM are not allowed to be received from any members.

Looks like that person should add me in his contacts to be able to receive a PM from me. But since he does not know me yet, it seems the only way to communicate is via forum posts.

Is that correct or I am missing something about how PM work?

Basically I am wondering how I can contact a person on this forum with a bit of details that I do not want to publish in forum posts? If I send himi a PM, he is not going to receive it...

Update: Looks like there is an option to enable PMs. It was completely disabled and I could not change it from my other machine. Now it works all right.
